Who we are
Design and build, in one place
Idaho Manufacturing Solutions is a welding, metal fabrication, and laser cutting shop in Pocatello, serving Eastern Idaho and the surrounding region. We take metal work from a rough idea to a finished part — no outside engineer to hand off to, and no guessing on the shop floor.
The difference is that the engineering and the fabrication happen under one roof. Our team runs SolidWorks in-house, so a job is designed and built by the same people. The details stay straight from the first drawing to the last weld, and the part fits when it's done.
The shop is run by owner Dan Talbot, who handles quotes and project questions directly — the same person who reviews your drawing sees the job through the floor. From a one-off repair to a full production run, we build parts for businesses across Pocatello and Eastern Idaho.

Laser cutting, MIG, TIG, and stick welding, and fabrication all happen in-house, built to spec.

We check the work and hand off parts that fit — a one-off repair or a full production run.
